Zellah Carlton

Obituary Zellah Carlton, 96, of Carlsbad, passed away May 17, 2020. Private services will be held. Zellah was born October 6, 1923 in Limestone, Oklahoma to Jethero and Zora Callistus (Payne) Burnett. She married Howard Carlton July 2, 1941. Zellah worked for Richardsons Construction Company as a secretary and bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. Zellah was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Howard Carlton; brothers: Jack, Clinton, J.G., Vernon and Velon Burnett. Survivors are her daughters: Dorothy Jean Carsey and husband, Norman; Judy Jensen and husband, Dale; grandchildren: Meil Gray and husband, Jeff; Aaron Carsey and wife, Lisa; Brad Jensen; Chaney Schoenherr; Shelsey Polito and Brant Jensen and wife, Jazmin; 10 great grandchildren; brothers: N.C. Burnett; Harrold Burnett and Doyle Burnett and wife, Donna; sister: Araelee Young and husband, Bill and several nieces and nephews.
