Obituary
Mr. Windell Adams, 55, passed away October 1, 2019 at his home in Carlsbad, NM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday October 5, 2019 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gabe Rubio officiating.
Mr. Windell was born November 17, 1963 in Amarillo, TX to Mary and Edward Adams. He was raised in Rockdale, TX and attended Rockdale High. Mr. Windell married Antonia Robledo. They raised two children: Fabian Robledo and Kaylah Saiz.
Mr. Windell resided in both Amarillo, TX and Carlsbad, NM. His last years were spent in Carlsbad, where he was known as the man who cut your grass with a smile or the cashier who cracked a joke when you paid for your groceries. He was well-known in the community as a man of laughter, jokes, and endless kindness. In his spare time, you could find Mr. Windell fishing or sitting on his front porch listening to oldies and playing dominos with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
His life will be forever cherished by his wife, Antonia Robledo; son, Fabian Robledo and wife, Steffany; daughter Kaylah Saiz and wife, Frida; 4 granddaughters: Cimyler, Tiffany, Gabriella and Evangeline; siblings: Johnny Chambers, Tracy Earl Adams, Edward Lee Adams, Jr., Marcellus Ywain Adams, Edna Faye Adams and a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews and friends.
