Wilma L. Harper, 79, resident of Carlsbad, passed away with loved ones at her bedside on Saturday, September 17, 2011.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2011, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Wilma L. Harper was born on May 15, 1932, in Sheridan, Wyoming, to William John and Dorothy Irene (Ray) Lardner. She had numerous hobbies including sewing and keeping up with the kids. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alice Schock; husband, Fred P. Harper; son, Fred James Harper; and grandson, James Lee Laxson.
Survivors are her daughters, Luann Underwood and husband, Bill of Carlsbad, NM, Chris Laxson and husband, Johnny of Loving, and Kathy Pickerel and husband Tim, of Andrews, Texas; grandchildren: Micah Pickerel of Midland, Texas and Jason Pickerel and wife, Lindsay of Andrews, Texas; sister, Irene King of Sheridan, Wyoming; nephews, Chip King, John King, Chris Schock, and Doug Schock all of Sheridan, Wyoming; and a host of dear friends.
