Willie Franco

William Franco, 77, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Cremation has taken place, and services will take place at a later date. 

Willie was born on November 7, 1946, in Carlsbad, NM to Ramona (Baiza) and Petronilo D. Franco. Heserved in the Army and National Guard. Willie worked for Plateau Telephone Co. for many years. He was an avid fisherman and never turned down the opportunity to fish.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Milagro Franco; and brother, Sam Franco. 

Willie is survived by two children; Yolanda Franco, and Orlando Franco; grandchildren: Jesse, Angel, Brianna, Alvin, Alex, Makayla, Jeremy, Sophia, and Bria; great-grandchildren: Miley, Bella and Nico; six siblings; Hector Franco, Nilo Franco, Kiko Franco, David Franco, Gloria Vigil, Lydia Salcido and numerous nieces and nephews.
