William "Bill" P. Hale

William P. "Bill" Hale, 65, of La Placita Drive, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away April 8, 2017 at his home. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be May 7, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. William P. "Bill" Hale was born April 15, 1951 in Canton, Ohio to Willie Paul and Evelyn Juanita (Dowdle) Hale. He served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. Bill worked in the potash mines both at Eddy Potash and later Intrepid. He loved playing poker and watching TV. Bill never turned down the opportunity to tell a good story. Survivors are his wife, Lou Hale of Carlsbad, NM; children: Karen Beth Millraney, Michael Leon Wilson, Michelle Ann Furno, Llasa Marie Louvene Micinski; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter and brother, Gregory Paul Hale.
