William (Bill) Bradley Beeman, 66, of Juanita Street passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011. Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2011 9:00 AM to Noon at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Carlsbad Cemetery in the Old Section. Bill was born March 15, 1944 in Carlsbad, NM to Charles Franklin and Mildred Lee Beeman. He grew up in Malaga, NM and was baptized in Black River. On the family farm he learned to drive a tractor by the age of seven and became fluent in Spanish. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1962. Bill married Anita West on September 11, 1964. They raised three boys Billy, Robert and Mark. He worked at PCA potash mine and then retired from WIPP as a hoistman in 2005. Bill was actively involved in Carlsbad's drag racing golden era with his brother-in-law Neuburn Allen. He enjoyed watching his son's race motocross. He loved watching his youngest son excel at baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joe H. and Mike, and granddaughter Kenzie Beeman. Survivors include wife, Anita, sons Billy (Teresa), Robert (Sylvia), Mark (Heather). Brother Francis and wife, Bettye, and sister Patricia Allen. Seven grandchildren Kaylin, Katie, Robyn, Brad, Justine, Bailey and Cameron along with numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Billy Beeman, Robert Beeman, Mark Beeman, Rick Beeman, Brad Beeman, Cameron Beeman and Bobby Allen.
