Willard "Bill" Prichard

Willard "Bill" Prichard, 72, of West Texas Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Lakeview Christian Home. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, October 12, 2012, 10:00 AM, at First Church of the Nazarene with Darwin Warner and Dean Coonradt officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Willard Prichard was born April 28, 1940 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Rowland Cecil and Ceola (Gentry) Prichard. He served his country in the US Navy from 1958 to 1960. Bill went to work as a pipeline welder where he moved and lived all over the United States and also internationally. He was an outdoorsman and often went hunting with his family. Bill was also an avid reader, especially enjoying western novels. He always supported the kids with their sports. Bill was a long time member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Glen Prichard; sisters: Doris Prentice and Jerri Kreger.
