Wendy S. Florentine

Wendy S. Florentine, 51, of W. Church Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away August 8, 2023 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and private services will be held at a later date.  She was born October 25, 1971 in Falmouth, Massachusetts.  Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Dale Rossman.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Stephen Florentine of Carlsbad, NM; son, Allan Florentine; 3 grandchildren; mother, Judith Rossman; sisters: Debbie Dodson and Lorene Rossman; brother, Dale Rossman and several nieces and nephews.

My sister Wendy was a kind and loving woman who loved her family and her dogs very much. She would do anything for you.
My favorite memory of her is when we were growing up we had to share a bedroom. We would have spitball fights late at night when we were supposed to be asleep. One time our mom was moving our beds and she asked what is stuck all over the wall. We both started laughing and said spitballs.
Wendy was someone I could talk to about anything. When I had a bad day she had a way of making me feel better.
She was my sister, a best friend who I will miss very much. Until we meet again rest in peace. I love you.
