Wallace "Wally" Marshall

Wallace "Wally" Marshall, 45, of Valverde Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away July 11, 2010. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Thursday, July 15, 2010, 3:00 PM, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Boyd officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Wallace "Wally" Marshall was born August 23, 1964 to Robert B. and Joyce E. (McAlexander) Marshall. He graduated for Carlsbad High School in 1982 and received his degree in Finance from New Mexico State University in 1986. Wally worked for Washington Tru Solutions in the Human Resource Department for 23 years. He enjoyed golfing, racquetball, coaching and refereeing all sports, but his love was coaching soccer. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Survivors include three children: Jessica Marshall, Eric Marshall, Missy Marshall all of Carlsbad, NM; girlfriend, Sherry Boyd of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Joyce Marshall of Carlsbad; two grandchildren: Dylan Marshall, Ashtyn Allen; four siblings: Bruce Marshall and wife, Annie, Bobbi Palmer and husband, Deryl, Vicki Watson and husband, Travis, Brian Marshall and wife, Dina all of Carlsbad, NM; best friend, Greg Brown of Carlsbad, NM and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
