Vivian McWhirter

Vivian McWhirter, 61, of N. Thomas Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away December 4, 2022 in El Paso, Texas.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Blodgett Street Baptist Church with Pastor David Prell officiating.

Vivian was born November 7, 1961 in Coleman, Texas to Ronald and Loretta (Thomas) McWhirter.  She graduated from Talpa Centennial High School and later received her dietary training which she expertly used during her employment at Holiday Hill Nursing Home.  Vivian was a loving, caring, beautiful soul extending herself as a motherly figure to her siblings following her mother’s death in 1988.  She lived in New Mexico the past 20 years.  Vivian’s hobbies were arts and crafts and spending time with her nieces and nephews.  She attended Blodgett Street Baptist Church.  Vivian was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her fiancé, Jess Scappaticci, her siblings, nieces and nephews.
