Vicki Lee Andrews

Vicki Lee Andrews, 62, of North 1st Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, 2015, 10:00 AM, at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Joe Henegar officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Vicki Lee Andrews was born April 7, 1952 in Hobbs, NM to Dell and Grace (Mahan) Teague. She married Darrell Andrews on February 15, 1971 in Dallas, Texas. Vicki worked at Surplus City for many years and later at Walgreen's where she was known for her infectious smile and care for others. She not only raised her two boys, but was "Momma Vic" to many. Vicki was a member of Dayspring Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her husband, Darrell Andrews of Carlsbad, NM; two sons: Shane Andrews and wife, Danna of Carlsbad, NM, Russell Andrews of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Teagan Andrews, Dalton Andrews, Kennedy Lee Andrews, Trey Jacks, Grant Jacks and Reagan Jacks; brothers: Lee Teague and wife, Jean, Bill Teague and wife, Vi and sister, Becky Thompson. Pallbearers will be Jesse Fuentes, Steve Garza, Franky Alvarado, Eric Chavez, Gabe Rodriguez, Sam Dorado, Larry Galindo, Billy Teague, Brian Tucker and Steve Chavez.
