Veronica "Ronnie" Lynn Williams

Veronica Lynn "Ronnie" Williams, 51, of Normandy, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away April 9, 2010 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Cremation has taken place there will be no visitation. Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 13, 2010, 2:00 PM, at Standpipe Road Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Devine officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Veronica Lynn "Ronnie" Williams was born on October 27, 1958 to Harry Lee Goins and Barbara R. Grimes in San Manuel, AZ. She went to school in San Manuel and Kearny, AZ. Ronnie married Biff Williams April 1, 1975 in Winkelman, AZ. They moved to Carlsbad in September of 1993. Ronnie was a member of Standpipe Road Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She adored her grandchildren and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Goins; sister, Linda McBride and brother, Curtis Goins. She is survived by her husband Byron "Biff" Williams; daughter: Melissa Jenkins of Carlsbad, NM; sons: Jasper Williams of Carlsbad, NM and Byron Williams, Jr., of Carlsbad, NM; mother: Barbara Page of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Alexis Jenkins of Carlsbad, NM; Brittney Jenkins of Carlsbad, NM; Chance Jenkins of Carlsbad, NM; Skyla Williams of Carlsbad, NM; sisters: Karen Killer of Carlsbad, NM; Patricia McDaniel of Quinlan, TX; Joyce Goins of Quinlan, TX; brothers: Johnny Goins of Fernwood, ID; Richard Goins of Josephine, TX; Michael Page, Farmersville, TX; Richard Page of Fernwood, ID.
