Varn Allan Nelson

Varn Nelson, 48, of Carlsbad, NM has passed. Born December, 1975, in Colorado by Rita and Roger Nelson. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, November 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel.

 A spirit wide, eclectic, and bold, 

This is Varn’s story now, softly told.

Two sisters, dear, Corina and Tav, 

Who shared his love, his trials, his laugh.

 When days grew lean, and work slipped away, 

He leaned on those close, in life’s fragile fray. 

Yet healthy he stood, till fate's final call, 

A son, a brother, a friend, now missed by all.

Now he journeys where balloons ascend, 

Beyond this world, where roads never end. 

Rest now, Varn, in sky-bound peace, 

May your restless spirit finally find release

Varn is survived by parents, Rita and Roger of Carlsbad; two sisters: Corina in MO; and Tav in AZ.
