Troy Silverthorn

Obituary Troy D. Silverthorn, 73, of Carlsbad, passed away September 27, 2020 in Roswell, NM. Cremation has taken place and private services will be held. Troy was born September 24, 1947 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Cecil and Wanda (Taylor) Silverthorn. He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Troy married Rhonda Clough October 16, 1971 in Las Cruces. He worked in law enforcement for a number of years. Troy worked as a school bus driver for many years as well which was a job he enjoyed. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rhonda Silverthorn and sister, Marty Lofton. Survivors are his son, Clint Silverthorn and wife, Krystal of Ruidoso, NM; daughter, Rose Ahart and husband, Kevin of Carlsbad, NM; granddaughter, Willow Ahart; brother, Jim Silverthorn; sister, Susan Wessman and several nieces and nephews.
