Troy Conn Holdiman

Troy Conn Holdiman, 48, of West Fox Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at his home. There will be no public visitation. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2015, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dean McAlister officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Troy Conn Holdiman was born October 31, 1967 in Knoxville, TN to Albert and Johnnie (Pierce) Holdiman. He graduated form Ooltewah High School in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Troy married Shannon Danielle Spangler. He was an intelligent man working in many areas such as truck driving, diesel mechanic, small engine mechanic and gunsmith. Troy enjoyed flying, driving big rigs and was an excellent marksman. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and wife, Shannon Danielle Holdiman. Survivors are son, Troy Alen Holdiman of Carlsbad, NM; siblings: John Henry Holdiman, Sherri Arnold, Paul Allen Bennett, Geneva Bennett, Leroy "Jr." McDaniel; step-mother, Dorothy Holdiman; father and mother-in-law, Ernie and Sarah Spangler; aunt, June Taylor and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Jim Hollen, Jim Bailey, Jess Laman, Dustin Holdiman, Zach Taylor and John Holdiman, Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
