Tristan Burden, 21, of Franklin Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Matt Schalk officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Tristan Burden was born June 14, 1994 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was an avid video gamer and movie buff. Tristan was preceded in death by his brother, Colton Burden. Survivors are his mother, Dayna Burden; brothers: Tyler Knight, Jason Knight; grandparents: Garry and MaryAnn Bannister; great-grandmother, Roberta McCray; nieces: Kallie Knight, Kiaya DeMoss, Ariah Knight; uncles and aunts: Todd and Darla Bannister, Mike and Celeste Bannister, Jody and Rhonda Bannister; cousins: Daniel, Matthew, Demi, Tessa and Christian Bannister, Gary, Tamara and Amanda Waddle.
