Obituary Tommy L. Williams, 82, of S. Mesquite Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Cremation has taken place and private interment will take place in Santa Catarina Cemetery. Tommy was born August 27, 1938 in De Kalb, Texas to Alec Williams and Ethel Lee Wooten. He worked in the potash mines for many years. Tommy loved keeping his car clean, his Dallas Cowboys and music. As soon as football season was over, he was already looking forward to the next season. Tommy was faithful to go to Mesa Senior Citizen Center to shoot pool and he enjoyed volunteering at Lakeview and San Jose Senior Center. There was never a dull moment when Tommy was around as he was the life of the party. He will definitely be missed. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Martin Armendarez. Survivors are his wife, Gloria Armendarez Williams; daughter, Teresa Lynn Williams; stepsons: Michael Armendarez and Jeffrey Armendarez; grandson, Estevan Armendarez; granddaughters: Cassidy Yrigollen and Jazell Marquez and 5 great-grandchildren.
