Tommy William Hale, born on January 9, 1935, in Bloom, Kansas, to Herbert and Marcille Hale, went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2025.
As per his wishes, no services will be held, and cremation has taken place.
From 1952-1954, Tommy served our country in the United States Army. In 1978, Tommy moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico, where he retired from Natural Gas Pipeline after more than 30 years of dedicated service. Even in retirement, he remained active, working various jobs and volunteering within the Carlsbad community.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Wilma Brooks Hale; his second wife, Rosemary Forbes Hale; his son, Darrell Lynn Hale; and his parents.
Tommy is survived by his sister, Carolyn (Howard) Wideman of Minneola, Kansas; his children, Toni (John) Badjar of Alamogordo, New Mexico, and Michelle Clough of Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was a proud grandfather to Shane Hale, Shawn Hale, Stephanie Hale, Amber (Brandon) Westbrook, and Daniel (Linda) Wodtke, and a beloved great-grandfather to Alexis, Brycen, Hunter, Mckenzie, Thomas, and Elijah. He is also remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a favorite charity in Tommy's name.
Tommy will be remembered for his hard work, dedication to his family, and his commitment to his community. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.
