Tommie L. McCormick

Tommie L. McCormick, 37, of Franklin Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at her home. There will be no vistation; cremation has taken place. A memorial service scheduled for Wednesday, December 23, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with J.D. Sowers officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Tommie L. McCormick was born July 31, 1978 in Dallas, Texas. She was raised in Carlsbad, graduating from Carlsbad High School in 1998. Tommie was preceded in death by her grandparents: John and Charlotte Sowers and L.C. and Tommie McCormick, and father Ernest McCormick. Survivors are her mother, Lorraine Heroux of Carlsbad, NM; dad, David Heroux of Carlsbad, NM; son, Michael Barnes of Carlsbad, NM; sisters: Mandy DeMoss of Carlsbad, NM, Charla Hodge of Midland, Texas; Jessica L. Graves of Carlsbad, NM and Rhonda Adams; brothers: Dale Loftis of Krum, Texas, Bobby Adams of Phoenix, Arizona, Darrel Adams of Phoenix, Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews.
