Tom Lulaks

Tom Lulaks, 52, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024 in Carlsbad, NM. Cremation has taken place and a private service will take place at a later date. 

Tom was born July 24, 1972 to Miervaldis and Joan (Brown) Lulaks in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Holy Name High School in Parma, Heights, Ohio. Tom received a degree in diesel mechanics from the University of Northwestern Ohio. He worked as a diesel mechanic for several businesses in Ohio before moving to Carlsbad in 2013. Tom most recently worked for Great Lakes Petroleum here in Carlsbad. His interests included riding motor cycles and fire arms. Tom enjoyed building water fountains as he loved the relaxing sounds of a bustling creek. He cherished his dogs: Tank, Diesel and Little Man. Tom is preceded in death by his stepfather Bob Lovicz and grandson, Kaleb Contreras.

Tom is survived by wife, Tricia Soals; daughter, Sami Lulaks; granddaughter, Juliana Maldonado; mother, Joan Lovicz; father, Miervaldis Lulaks; sister, Jennifer Bane; brothers: Rob Lovicz and Jason Lovicz; and several nieces & nephews.
