Tiny Carringan

Tiny Carrigan, 82, of Glasier Drive, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Lakeview Christian Home. There will be no public visitation. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 3, 2014, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Veilleux officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Tiny Carrigan was born January 2, 1931 in West Frankford, Illinois to Herman and Hazel (Pyle) Hood. She worked in the hospital auxiliary craft store. Tiny taught Sunday School for 60 years. She married Jack Carrigan on June 30, 1951. Tiny enjoyed crafts, sewing and cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her husband, Jack Carrigan of Carlsbad, NM; son, Steve Carrigan and wife, Tammy of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Jackie Carrigan of Sacaramento, CA; two granddaughters: Allie Carrigan, Emmalee Carrigan; one sister and one brother.
