Timothy "Tim" Mendoza

Timothy “Tim” Mendoza, 18, of Monterey Street, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his home.

Visitation will be 9 AM – 10:45 AM, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Paradise Ranch Chapel and facial coverings are required. Services will be livestreamed and may be viewed by clicking the link below at 11:00 AM, MST Wednesday, February 24, 2021.Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM.

Tim was born October 12, 2002 in Carlsbad, NM to Jerry and Gwen (Lara) Mendoza, Jr. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in May of 2020. Tim always worked hard as he was determined to make his own money. He got his first job at 14 years old. Tim was currently working at Carlsbad Ford. He was an avid gamer and Call of Duty was his favorite game. Tim loved watching the Cowboys and Dodgers play ball. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and grandson and he would always go out of his way for any and everyone. Tim always loved to joke and play around with his nieces and nephew. He had a big heart and always helped anyone who needed it. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Mendoza, Jr.; great-grandparents: David and Emma Castillo and Elena Lara; best friend, Kevin Williams.

Survivors are his mother, Gwen Lara Mendoza; sisters: Kayla Mendoza and Jordan Galindo and husband, Robbie; niece, Jayde Mendoza; nephew, Roman Galindo; niece, Everleigh Mendoza; niece on the way, Brielle Galindo; grandparents: Belinda and Randy Lee, Mario and Rose Lara, Dolores and Albert Estrada, Jerry Mendoza; great-grandfather, Nino Lara; great-grandmother, June Mosier and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers are Robbie Galindo, Travis Lee, Mario Lara, Kameran Williams, Edward Cano and Gentry Dalpiaz. Honorary pallbearers are Jayde Mendoza, Roman Galindo, Everleigh Mendoza, Emma Lara, Mya Lara, Connor Lara and Axel Lee.
