Timothy T. "Timo" Madrid

Timothy T. “Timo” Madrid, 57 of Carlsbad NM went to be with the Lord on Thursday December 9, 2021.

Timothy (Timo) was born to Manuel and Alice Madrid in Carlsbad, N.M. on April 11, 1964. He was the baby of 7 boys, so he could tell stories about his brothers for days. He attended Carlsbad High School until the 11th grade. Then he, a few brothers and best friends decided to move to Sedona, AZ to be cooks and share a studio apartment. Thankfully it was short-lived, and they came home after 6 months.
Timo enjoyed shooting guns, cooking out and telling stories. He married the love of his life, Elisa Duenez in March, 1993. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather. He made it a priority to be there for his family and friends any chance he could. He worked as a diesel mechanic for I & W for over 15 years and Constructors Inc. before opening up Tim’s Automotive. He missed his Constructors family and rejoined them while still operating his own business. Anyone you ask will tell you he was a kind, helpful man who will be greatly missed.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Elisa, children: Nyleen and husband, Lalo, Tim, Bertha and husband, Jeremiah, Alicia, Alexa and spouse, Justin; grandchildren: Dayleen, David, Aleya, Anjeleen Navarrette, Nayeli, Lilibeth, and Yahdira Rico, Timothy, Samuel, Mateo, Manuel, and Isaiah Madrid, Annaiese, Jay and Kylie Norris, Amelia Perez, Mia Madrid, Jenna, Jaxon, Ava and Daniel Tyre. He is also survived by brothers: Bobby and wife, Rose, Henry and wife, Melissa, Mike and wife, Patsy, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Norris, Justin Tyre, Benito Ortega, Angel Madrid, Michael Madrid, & Daniel Madrid.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 5 p.m.– 7 p.m.at Denton-Wood Funeral Home in Carlsbad, NM. Funeral will be Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 2 p.m. at IAFCJ Elevate Church, 3212 W Lea St., Carlsbad. Dinner to follow at the church after the burial at Carlsbad Cemetery.
