Thomas R. Saulino

Thomas R. Saulino, 76, of Cimarron Trail, Carlsbad, NM, passed away May 15, 2017 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and there will be no public services. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Thomas R. Saulino was born May 5, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Theodore C. and Anna (Myers) Saulino. He was a member of Local Union U.A. Local 420 Steamfitters for 35 years. Thomas a member of the Knights of Columbus in Pennsylvania and he served 6 years in the Army Reserve. He built, owned and operated with his wife, Abby, Sousorrone Viento "Whispering Wind" Bed and Breakfast and ran the business for 7 years. Thomas also restored cars. He was a member of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Anna and his brother, Ted Saulino. Survivors are his wife, Abby Saulino of Carlsbad, NM; sons: Thomas Anthony Saulino and wife, Carolyn of Pennsylvania and Todd David Saulino of Carlsbad, NM; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
