Thallia Marshall

A celebration of the life of Thallia Marshall will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Blodgett Street Baptist Church, 1500 W. Blodgett Street, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Thallia passed away on August 3, 2012, after she had a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 3, 1967, in Albuquerque, N.M., the daughter of Thom & Rachel Bruce. She grew up in Clovis and graduated from Portales High and earned a bachelors and masters from College of the Southwest. Thallia was never afraid to live and enjoy life to the fullest. With her contagious smile and positive attitude she could warm up any room she entered. Thallia is survived by her parents Thom & Rachel Bruce, her beloved daughter Chelsea Houlihan and husband, Michael and sister Twila Bruce. She will forever be in the hearts of her friends and family. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundations.
