Teresa R. Dominguez

Teresa R. Dominguez, 77, of N. Mesquite Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Upon her request, cremation will take place and there will be no public services. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Teresa R. Dominguez was born January 8, 1939 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Francisco and Emelia (Rubio) Rodriguez and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1958. She married Frank G. Dominguez. Teresa worked as a nurse for many years. She enjoyed collecting music boxes, dolls and watching Steven Seagal movies. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank G. Dominguez; son, Dennis Dominguez; sister, Cecilia Jacobo; brothers: Frank Rodriguez and Jerry Rodriguez. The family would like to thank her special caregivers, Rosa, Brenda, Anna, Yvonne and Rick, and the church family, Carlsbad Mennonite Church, for the love and care they have given her over the years. Survivors are her children: Denise Rodriguez and husband, Leonel of Carlsbad, NM, Jack Douglas Muniz and wife, Lola of Artesia, NM, Catherine Quintela and husband, Orlando of Hurst, Texas; grandchildren: Shane Rodriguez and Sandra, Ryan Rodriguez and Kadee, Taylor Rodriguez, Aaron Quintela and Tylan Quintela and Dulce; great-grandchildren: Baby Shane, Brooklyn, Hailey, Avery, Brianna and Ivan; sister, Lupita Tavarez and numerous nieces and nephews.
