Teresa Pierce

Teresa Pierce, 50, of East Orchard Lane, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at her home. There will be no visitation; cremation has taken place. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, May 17, 2013, 3:00 PM, at New Song Fellowship with Pastor John A. Burke officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Teresa Pierce was born on April 15, 1963, in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Joseph Erb and Janet (Henness) Erb. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1981. Teresa managed the Carlsbad Recreation Center for several years. She was also an Avon representative for 4 years. Teresa loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tenessa Vincent and stepfather, William Fairbanks, Sr. Survivors are her husband, Randy Martin of Carlsbad, NM; son, Eric Saltzman and wife, Jodi of Carlsbad, NM; grandchild, Zohey Saltzman; mother, Janet Fairbanks Genzel and husband, Jimmy of Dallas, Texas; father, Joseph Erb of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Gayleen Griffin of Carlsbad, NM; brother, William Fairbanks, Jr. of North Richland Hills, TX, step-brother, David Fairbanks and wife, Emily of College Station, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
