Teresa D. Peruskie

Teresa D. Peruskie, 68, Roswell, New Mexico passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Teresa was born on August 23, 1953, in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Joe and Barbara-Ann Peruskie.

Cremation has taken place, and the family will have services at a later date.

Teresa was a smart, outspoken, talented and creative person. She had a stubborn and loving way about her, that made her a force in the lives around her. Teresa had a talent for crocheting, and everyone family member had at least one of her blankets she constructed. She also had such a love for all music, and her precious animals. Above all, her pride and joy was in her family. She endlessly loved her daughter and grandchildren, leaving them a legacy cemented in their hearts.   

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Joe E. Peruskie; mother, Barbara-Ann H. Peruskie; and two brothers: Rick Peruskie and Jeff Bletsoe.

Teresa is survived by her daughter, Joanna Peruskie of Carlsbad, NM; three grandchildren: Dahlia Carrillo, Lydia Peruskie, and Walter Worthington; two brothers: Ralph Peruskie of Oklahoma; and Robert Ellis of Arkansas; sister-in-law, Teresa Aldridge of Oklahoma; aunt, Bobbie Jean Strandquist of California; close cousin, Carol Silrum of California; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
