Teresa "Nana" Ann Meyer

Teresa Ann Meyer "Nana", 54, of West Mermod Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Carlsbad Medical Center. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, December 13, 2011, 10:00 AM, at Cavern Baptist Church with Pastor Dick Means officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Teresa Ann Meyer "Nana" was born January 29, 1957 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Kenneth "K.O." and Margaret "Midge" (Hammett) Tanner. Nana's greatest love in life was spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was one of the most loving, supportive, caring person anyone has met. To Nana, her family was her life. She was the babysitter, driver, supporter, hugger, kisser and counselor to those around her. To those around Carlsbad, she is best remembered as the crazy bartender from the My-Way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Meyer; her parents; two brothers: James and Wendell Tanner and nephew, Tracy Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Chrisman Collier; son, Jason Hamman and wife, Brandi; Granddaughters: Candice "Boo-Boo" Holcomb, Tyla Wood, Crysta Tully, Margaret Taylor Hamman; great- granddaughter, Hayli Busch; sister, Sue Evanoff and husband, Tony; brothers: Mike Tanner and wife, Crystial, Pete Tanner and wife, Danette and numerous nieces, nephews and family members by choice all of Carlsbad, NM.
