Suzanna Ryan-Forbes

Obituary Suzanna Ryan-Forbes, 52, former resident, passed away March 4, 2019 in Capitan, NM. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, March 18, 2019 at Sunset Church of Christ with Mike Veilleux officiating. Suzanna was born June 24, 1966 in El Paso, TX to James and Marie (Elmore) Ryan and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1984. She attended University of New Mexico for 4 years. Suzanna lived in Florida for a while and returned to New Mexico. She enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid rock collector. Suzanna was always ready to lend a helping hand to others and had a love for animals. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bud and Henrietta Elmore and Jim and Roymaye Ryan. Survivors are her son, Garrett Forbes of Austin, TX; daughter, Rylie Ryan of Carlsbad; parents: Jim and Marie Ryan of Carlsbad; brother, Rusty Ryan of San Antonio, TX; aunts and uncles: Jimmie and John Marrs of Carlsbad, Doris and Charles Stevens of Kingman, AZ, Pam and Jim Brawley of Farmington, NM, Larry and Dee Ryan of Herriman, UT; nephews: Jeremy and Melissa Ryan of El Paso, TX, Shaun and Minda Ryan of Roswell, NM, Trace and Marissa Ryan of Carlsbad, NM and numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
