Susana "Susie" Cisneros

Susana “Susie” Cisneros was born February 21, 1977 in Taft, Texas to Catarina Cisneros and Ruben Cisneros. Grandparents are Susana Villegas, Socorro Villegas, Josefina Cisneros and Domingo Cisneros.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and great grandparents and aunts. Survivors are her husband, Michael Rodriguez; daughters: Kayla Castillo, Raelynn  Rodriguez; son, Mikey Rodriguez, all of Carlsbad, NM; granddaughters: Aubrie Anahi and Naomi Ellianna of Carlsbad, NM; sisters: Kathy Perez and husband, Richard Perez of Carlsbad NM, Michelle Ortiz and husband, Chris Ortiz of Ingleside, Texas, Vicke Ortiz and husband, Pete Ortiz of Aransas Pass, Texas; brother, Ruben Cisneros of Carlsbad, NM and numerous nieces and nephews.
Susana moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico in 1996 where she began a new journey and started her family. Susana enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved doing arts and crafts, gardening and listening to music. Susana was a very happy person always willing to help someone in need. She was full of life always bringing a smile to everyone. She will be dearly missed & never forgotten.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM, Thursday, November 17, 2022 at San Jose Catholic Church followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Chris Ortiz, C.J. Ortiz, Pete Ortiz, Dalton Perez, Willie Sanchez and Felix Martinez.
