Susan "Sue" D. Cartwright

Susan "Sue" D. Cartwright, 46, of Eunice Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away January 27, 2010 at her home. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 2, 2010, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Burke officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Susan "Sue" D. Cartwright was born May 27, 1963 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Thomas Edward and Mattie Louise (Ratliff) Cartwright. She enjoyed playing the drums with the New Song Praise Team. Sue loved riding her Harley and was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. Her dogs and cat were her special friends and companions. Sue continually pursued her education and had recently completed a building trade school course at NMSU-Carlsbad. Sue was known for the Christian life that she lived. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry Cartwright and Thomas E. Cartwright, Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Survivors include: two sisters: Barbara DeLosh and husband, Jerry of Roswell, NM, Pat Mobley and husband, Dennis of Copperopolis, CA; brother, David Cartwright and wife, Julie of Carthage, MO and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be her family at New Song Christian Fellowship.
