Susan Groh

 Susan Marie Groh, 62, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024, after a long illness. Cremation has taken place, and there will be a private service held at a later date. 

It is with broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was born July 28, 1962, in Vaughn, NM and raised in Clovis, NM. She attended Clovis schools and graduated Clovis High in 1981.

Susan lived in Carlsbad, NM for 45 years. She worked in the restaurant industry her entire work life. Susan enjoyed reading, dancing to country music “George Strait” and spending time with her grandchildren, her pride and joys.

Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Saiz.

Susan is survived by her sister, Maria Saiz and husband Juan from Los Lunas; daughter, Tessa Burton; son Christopher Burton both from Carlsbad, NM. Grandchildren: Maksyn Rodriguez, Annika Burton, and Aria Burton all of Carlsbad, NM. Nephews, Jonathan Saiz- Lopez, Ponchito Saiz- Lopez from Albuquerque, NM. Life long friends, Rebecca Martinez Holt of Clovis, NM and Carlos Ruiz of Carlsbad, NM. The love of her life, that remained in her heart to the end, John Groh of Artesia, NM and many other friends.

Rest in peace for you are now home, I miss you already Hermanita, Con Todo Mi Corazon, Amor Siempre.
