Stella L. Blatsvich

Stella was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Bruno and Stella Kosloski. She was a wonderful wife to her husband Joseph (Joe) Blatsvich who loved her dearly. They were married for 68 years before his death in 2011. She was a loving and caring mother and a woman with a kind-hearted spirit that was always willing to be of help. Stella was one of nine children born to her parents, all have preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church for 56 years. Stella loved to do gardening and crocheting in her spare time. She is survived by her daughters Carol Collins, Wanda Bricker, Christine Yielding and husband, Lonnie, all of Carlsbad; and Sandy Kinser and husband, Bill of Lake, WV. She is also survived by her son Robert Blatsvich of Carlsbad and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Stella will be laid to rest next to her husband at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
