Stanley Reuben Lammle 74, passed away on September 5th, 2017 at his home in Carlsbad New Mexico and was born on April 7th, 1943 in Eureka South Dakota to Reuben and Lydia (Sperle) Lammle. He grew up on the farm in Long Lake South Dakota. He attended Salem Emmanuel Church and was confirmed as a Lutheran. He graduated from Eureka high school in South Dakota. He served in the army starting in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1964. Stan then attended Northern State University in Aberdeen South Dakota - graduating with a Bachelors in business education and a minor in Political Science. Stan moved to Minnesota, then Seattle where he met his spouse - Nona. They had two children - Eric and Randy. Both were raised with a combination of Nona and Stan's respective values of the benefits of love for others and hard work. Stan and Nona returned to Minnesota where he spent many years in personnel and human resource management. Stan worked at Tonka Toys beginning as a plant manager and ending his career there as Director of Personnel. He then moved to Texas and continued his work in Personnel for Mansfield Plumbing Products. After that, Stan moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico where he met Brenda Mann. Brenda and Stan would be married in 2001. Stan continued his work in personnel management with the Westinghouse Group until his retirement in 2007. Though Stan's health failed in his later years, his wife Brenda stayed by his side with love and caring until the end. Stan was a beloved father, brother, husband and friend. Stan lived life to the fullest and lived on his terms. Although he could be tough at times, he had a big heart and would give the shirt off his back for a friend in need. Stan was also known for his strong work ethic he learned growing up on the farm. He practiced this throughout his successful career and passed this trait on to his two sons. Stanley enjoyed gardening, fishing, trips to the horse track and casino. Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Lydia Lammle and his sister, Marlene Pelo. Stanley is survived by his spouse, Brenda Mann of Carlsbad, New Mexico; his sons, Eric Lammle and Randy(Amy) Lammle and their mother, Nona Regan; his sister, Donna (Floyd) Opp; nieces, Nancy (Don) Peterson, Kelly (Randy) Hanson, Penny(Steve) Harrison, Robin(Jeremy) Churchill, Andrea (Dave) Vanderhoff and their children.
