Sidnia Gardner

Sidnia Gardner, 63, of Dark Canyon Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at her home. There will be no visitation. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 21, 2012, 11:00 AM, at Guadalupe Christian Church Camp with Pastor Rusty Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Queen Cemetery, Queen, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Sidnia Gardner was born March 3, 1949 in Crane, TX to Clifton Vernon and Marcel (Shults) Cunningham. She married Ridley Gardner August 6, 1971. Sidnia taught for 36 years, mostly teaching kindergarten, she loved children. She loved collecting antiques. Sidnia was a devoted member of Guadalupe Christian Church in Queen, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Ridley Gardner of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Shaundra Norman and husband, Matt of Carlsbad, NM; son, Rowdy Gardner of Carlsbad, NM; five grandchildren: Brody Gardner, Brock Gardner, Calissa Norman, Payton Norman and Coby Norman.
