Shirley A. Greene

Shirley A Greene, 76 of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at home. Shirley was born on June 21, 1945 in Paris, Arkansas to Calvin and Verlin Crown.

There will be no visitation, and a graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday 6/04/2022, at the Sunset Gardens Memorial Park in Carlsbad, NM with Mike Veilleux officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Shirley was a lifelong resident of Carlsbad. She raised her family of three children, and loved spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to spend her past time crocheting blankets for her family and friends, sewing, and cooking. She was a loving, caring and generous person. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.  

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Verlin Crow.

Shirley is survived by: her loving husband, Bill Greene of 44 years; her father Calvin Crow; Son, Greg Sensibaugh and wife, Stacey of Broussard Louisiana; Son, Mike Sensibaugh & wife, Becky of Harriman Tennessee; Daughter, Missy Burns and husband Bryan of Carlsbad New Mexico; Siblings: Leroy Crow & wife, Marian of Scottsdale, AZ; Susan Cunningham & husband Randy of Austin, Texas. Grandchildren: Amber Pence & husband, Tyson; Chelsea Sims & husband, Jason; Josh Sensibaugh & wife Amy; Preston Burns; Sarah Sensibaugh; Erin Rhoades & husband, Justin; Kaytlyn Stephens & husband, Dylan; Bryce Burns; Sean Burns; and 11 great-grandchildren.
