Shane Kincaid

Shane Kincaid, 16, of Chinaberry Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2017, 2:00 PM, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Dick Means officiating. Private interment will take place. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Shane Kincaid was born September 24, 2000 here in Carlsbad. He loved his diesel pickup, branding cattle and listening to outlaw country music. Shane was known for his big heart. He was always generous to his friends and often stepped up to help the underdog. "We will never forget his blue eyes and crooked little grin" Survivors are his mother, Robin Kincaid of Carlsbad, NM; father, Todd Looney of Carlsbad, NM; grandparents, Laurie and Nina Kincaid of Carlsbad, NM; siblings: EJ Kincaid of Las Cruces, NM, Jessi Brito and husband, Nick of Carlsbad, NM, Joseph Jones of Carlsbad, NM; girlfriend, Jennah Groves of Carlsbad, NM and numerous extended family and friends.
