Seaburn H. "Bud" Locklear, Jr., 77, of Old Cavern Highway, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away December 5, 2010 at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, December 11, 2010, 12 Noon to 5:00 PM, at 5604 Old Cavern Highway.
A Private interment was held in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Seaburn H. "Bud" Locklear, Jr. was born June 1, 1933 in Form, Arkansas to Seaburn Hillary and Ethel (Murphy) Locklear, Sr. He was an accomplished carpenter working commercial and residential construction for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Polly Olleta Locklear; son, Troy Locklear and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors are son, Roy Locklear and wife, Hallie of Boise, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Barbara Hudgens of Magnolia, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Deanna Locklear and husband, Rama of Nampa, Idaho, Steve Locklear and wife, Crystal of Tulsa, OK, Greg Locklear of Magnolia, Arkansas, Holly Locklear and husband, Michael of Nampa, Idaho; four great-grandchildren: Kristen, Leah, Emma and Samuel; two brothers: Garland Locklear, Edgar Locklear; sister, Jo Ann Schneider and several nieces and nephews.
