Sarah Castro Rodriguez

Sarah Rodriguez, 48, gained her wings on Wednesday December 8th, 2021, in Carlsbad New Mexico. Rosary will be 9:30 AM, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at San Jose Catholic Church and Mass of a Christain Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at San Jose Catholic Church. interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.

Sarah was born February 13th, 1973, in Carlsbad New Mexico to Corina Castro. She attended Carlsbad High School where she participated in basketball, volleyball, and track. After graduating in 1991 she then spent most of her life as a homemaker. Those left behind to celebrate her life are two beloved daughters: Kirstie and Sami Jo Rodriguez, her mother Corina Castro; grandsons Kyson and Sawyer; her fur baby Penny and grand fur babies Benji and Brody; sisters: Sandra Carrasco (Michael Sr.), Ruby Hernandez (Jeff), Amy Castro and brother Ruben Castro Sr.; nieces: Chasity, Destiny, Desarey, Emily, Kaitlin, and Cadence; nephews: Michael Jr., Eric, Ruben Jr., and Jason; great nieces: Nevaeh, Aria, Nova, and Aubree; great nephews Nico, Noah, and Jameson; Tio Raul Navarrette, Tia Rosalia, and numerous cousins and friends. Sarah was a beautiful wild free spirit who never passed judgement and accepted everyone as is. She had a very strong, loving and forgiving soul who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She always had a smile and positive attitude no matter what kind of day she was having. She was always there for family or friends and would always be willing to offer a helping hand when you needed it. She was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers Fan regardless the outcome of the game. Sarah was loved by so many, and she will be truly missed.
