Sarah Mullins

Sarah F. Mullins, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother entered rest on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the age of 80. She was born on December 1, 1943, in Derry, New Hampshire.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents Eunice Hand and James D. Hand, her brothers, Robert Mullins and Howard Stone, sister, Mary West, niece, Jeni Pate, and grandson, Malachi Villegas.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Victoria Saiz of Carlsbad, NM, son, Joseph David Moore of Colorado Springs, CO, grandchildren, Victoria Richelle Lopez (Patrick), Veraunica RaeLynn Martinez (Michael Methola), Joseph Moore, Catia Peak (JP), Joshua Thomason and Shayla Thomason, 11 great grandchildren, brother, Everette Mullins of Dyer, IN, sister, Jean Vachon of Belmont, NH, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much, along with her furry companion, Daisy.

To those who knew and loved her, she was known as Nana. She was best known for her knowledge in the medical field. As a single parent, she went to night school to earn her high school diploma and certification as a medical technologist. As a medical technologist, she held a license in Florida, New Mexico, and Tennessee and worked at Carlsbad Medical Center in Carlsbad NM, and St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN, where she retired.

She enjoyed gathering with family, crocheting, fishing, and eating seafood. She was a wealth of knowledge to all that knew her. Her most precious moments were spent talking and crocheting with her great granddaughters. The family would like to thank all who helped care for her in the recent weeks including, Carlsbad Medical Center, Enhabit Hospice, and Laurie Alvarado. There will be a private service at a later date as cremation has taken place.
