Rudy Murillo, 38, of South Canal Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away July 5, 2009. Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Vigil is scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 2009, 7:15 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, July 10, 2009, 10:00 AM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Cyprian Uline, OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Rudy Murillo was born October 28, 1970 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He loved everyone and had a heart of gold. Rudy was a big Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed low riders and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by two sons: Rudy Murillo, Jr. of Carlsbad, NM and Isidoro Murillo of Carlsbad, NM; two step-daughters: Amber and Zariah Franco of Carlsbad, NM; father, Moro Murillo of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Gloria Martinez of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Richard Murillo, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters: Sylvia Enriquez and husband, Luis of Carlsbad, NM and Carla Martinez of Phoenix, AZ; grandmother, Carlota Murillo of Carlsbad, NM; nieces and nephews: Daniel, Gloria, Victor, Thomas, Richie and Nick and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Lupe Lopez, Ruben Garcia, Daniel Munoz, Luiz, Enriquez, Toribio Murillo, Jr., and Ray Murillo. Contributions may be made to U-1st Community Federal Credit Union in Rudy's name.
