Rosella L. Muoz

Rosella L. Muoz, 48, of South Alameda Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at her home. Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Vigil is scheduled for Sunday, January 8, 2012, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday, January 9, 2012, 10:00 AM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will be in Santa Catarina Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Rosella L. Muoz was born August 11, 1963 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Polo and Hortenica (Leos) Muoz. She loved her family and her Catholic faith. Rosella was never empty handed; she continually brought gifts to her family and friends on each visit. She enjoyed listening to music as well. Rosella cherished the relationships that she had at AA. Most importantly in her life were her beautiful children. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Apolonio "Polo" Muoz and Hortencia "Tencha" Muoz; brother, Frank Muoz; a niece, a nephew and her grandparents. Survivors are her son, James Apolonio Muoz of Carlsbad, NM; twin daughters: Jacquline Rose Muoz of Carlsbad, NM, Jona Lee Muoz of Carlsbad, NM; siblings: Delora Elizondo of Carlsbad, NM, Anna Rodriguez of Carlsad, NM, Rudy Muoz and wife, Lovie of Carlsbad, NM, Michael Muoz and wife, Rose of San Diego, CA, Teresa Muoz and Jimmy Morgan of Carlsbad, NM, Felice Muoz of Carlsbad, NM; sister-in-law, Irma Muoz of Carlsbad, NM; adopted brother, Michael James Muoz and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Tony Elizondo, Jonathan Muoz, Isaac Muoz, Jeremy Muoz, Anthony Hernandez, LeRoy Lopez and Luis Villegas, Aaron Hernandez. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
