Ronald "Randy" Bailey, Sr., 62, of Avalon Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at his home.
Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Dick Means officiating.
Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico.
Carlsbad Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors.

Ronald "Randy" Bailey, Sr. was born August 27, 1953 in Albion, Michigan. He graduated from high school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ron served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam. He married Patricia Viverata November 16, 1974 in Baton Rouge and they moved to Carlsbad in 1980. Ron worked for the mines and a short time for the co-op in Otis and eventually began work at CID. He worked as a laborer, later as a ditch rider and was water master for the past 26 years. Ron enjoyed coaching his sons and later his grandsons as they played basketball, baseball and soccer.
Survivors are his wife, Patricia Bailey of Carlsbad, NM; sons: Ronald "Ron" Bailey, Jr. and wife, Nicole of Las Cruces, NM, Jason A. Bailey and wife, Adrienne of Holland, Michigan; daughter, Aimee R. Bailey of Carlsbad, NM; father, Andy Baily of Allen, Michigan; mother, Mary Patrick of Florida; grandchildren: Braiden Bailey, Duncan Mitchell, Tyler Mitchell, Madison Mitchell and Randy Bailey; sisters: Patricia Marks and husband, Tim, Sandy Vaughn and husband, Richard, Pam Bitner and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Bailey, Jr., Jason Bailey, Braiden Bailey, Duncan Mitchell, Robbie Wells, Dane Williams and Jaime Grijalva.
