Ron Voldahl

Obituary Ron Voldahl, 53 passed away at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas on December 7, 2019 surrounded by his family. Cremation is taking place. Services will be on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at St. Edward Catholic Church. The Rosary will be at 9:00 am followed by mass at 10:00 am. Ron was born on 9/14/66 in Homestead, Florida. He was raised in El Paso, Texas. He attended Irvin High School and El Paso Community College. Ron made a career in the food industry which allowed him to settle here in Carlsbad to operate the Golden Corral and raise his three children: Ronald II, Madeline and Ema. Ron fought kidney disease for many years. Ron made many great friends everywhere he lived. In his last years he loved selling buildings for Affordable Portables and hanging out at the Armstrong Shop and playing poker. Most of all he loved playing with his grandson Lonnie James. Ron is preceded in death by his parents Donna and Gerald Voldahl, brother Michael Voldahl and brother-in-law Peter Bayer. Ron is survived by his wife, Felicia; son, Ronald and wife, Melinda as well as his grandson, Lonnie James; daughter, Madeline and husband, Steffen Milner; daughter, Ema Grace; sister, Lynda Michelle Gonzalez; brother, Terry Voldahl and wife, Cindy; brother, Jeff Voldahl; step-mother, Sharon Voldahl; brother, Carl Voldahl and sister, Christina Roberts. Ron had numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews that he enjoyed spending time with. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
