Rojelio G. Molina of Carlsbad, NM died September 14, 2016 peacefully surrounded by his family. A vigil will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 7 p.m., at the Denton Wood Funeral Home with Deacon Tony Dominguez officiating. Cremation and Memorial Service with immediate family to take place at a later date. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Rojelio "Rojo" was born on September 13, 1954 to Felipe and Lazara Molina and raised in Loving, NM. Rojelio grew up on a farm, where he worked with his dad and had a love for tractors and also the Dallas Cowboys. Rojelio worked for the mines in various positions for many years. He was an entrepreneur and enjoyed working with stocks and commodities. He invested in real estate opportunities. Rojelio owned and operated a vending machine business for a few years in Carlsbad, NM he looked forward toward the day he could retire and enjoyed his last few years living the life of retirement. Rojelio was known by many for his hard work ethic and his caring heart. He is preceded in death by his father Felipe Molina. Rojelio is survived by his daughters, Amy Molina Trevino and husband Tony Trevino of Las Cruces, NM, and Jamie Molina and partner Rommel Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas. Rojelio is survived by his mother, Lazara Molina, and brothers, Raul Molina (Dolores), Felipe Molina Jr, Samuel Molina (Lina), Ismael Molina (Lyla), Ben Molina all from Carlsbad, NM, and Abel Molina from Dallas, Texas. He is survived by two sisters Corina Molina and Carol Molina both from Carlsbad, NM. Rojelio had one grandson Tyler Trevino of Las Cruces, NM and various beloved nieces and nephews. Rojelio was also survived by his beloved pet "Flicka" who took very good care of him as well as various close friends dear to his heart. Condolences may be expressed at www.dentonwood.com
