Roger D. Jump

Roger Jump, 59, of North Halagueno Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2015, 1:30 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Terry McKean officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Roger D. Jump was born January 6, 1956 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Frank S and Rose (Crabb) Jump. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1974. Roger attended school at AAI-Phoenix and NMSU-C. He worked as a mechanical draftsman for several companies during his career and most recently Roger was with Navajo Refinery. He thoroughly enjoyed deep sea fishing and was very proud of the Marlin and Sail Fish he caught. Roger was also a die hard Raiders fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank S. Jump. Survivors are his mother, Rose Crabb Jump of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Linda Bibby of Carlsbad, NM; niece, Lisa McAvoy and husband, Drew of Carlsbad, NM; nephew, Brian Bibby and wife, Charla of McKinney, TX; 3 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews. Pallbearers will be Brian Bibby, Michael Proctor, Tyler Proctor, Drew McAvoy, Rob Coley and Johnny Lester. .
