Roberto Dominguez, Jr., 44, of Vest Road, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A vigil is scheduled for 7:00 PM, Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 26, 2016, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alberto Alvarez officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Roberto Dominguez, Jr. was born July 19, 1972 in Carlsbad, NM to Roberto and Vivian (Salcido) Dominguez, Sr. There were two things he was most passionate about in his life: family and horses. Roberto loved his children and grandchildren very much and always enjoyed the time he spent with them. He was an expert at shoeing and breaking horses. Roberto raced horses as a jockey and roped for many years. He never met a stranger and always made people smile with his jokes. Roberto was always willing to help people. Survivors are his children: Faith Arellano, Robert Dominguez, Amber Saenz and Gilbert Saenz, all of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren: Ryhan Elijah Calderon, Hope Isabella Arellano, Victor Calderon and Emma-Grace Arellano; brother, James Dominguez of Loving, NM; sister, Tammy Dominguez of Carlsbad, NM and parents, Roberto and Vivian Dominguez of Carlsbad, NM.
