Roberta "Bobbie Zirkle" McWilliams, 60, of Warren Rd., passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at her home. Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Monday, April 3, 2017 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 4, 2017, 10:00 AM, at Oasis Christian Fellowship Church. Interment to follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Roberta "Bobbie Zirkle" McWilliams was born May 20, 1956 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Robert and Louise (Bennett) Zirkle. Born and raised in Carlsbad, she graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1974. Bobbie worked as an Interior Decorator for a large part of her life. She loved painting, crafting, working in the yard, and around the house. She was a very talented lady. Bobbie will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband: Monty McWilliams; daughter, Amanda Pond of Carlsbad, NM; sons: Cody Walker and wife, Tirzah of Carlsbad, NM, Jeremy McWilliams of Denver, CO; sisters: Becky Thornberry and husband, Hal of Maryland, Sharon Slusher and husband, Dennis of North Carolina, grandchildren: Jackson, Colton, Augustus, Jayden, and Nolan. Mother-in-law; Ethel McWilliams and parents: Robert and Louise Zirkle of Carlsbad, NM. Pallbearers will be Cody Walker, Colton Walker, Jackson Pond, Cisco Hensley, Jeremy Griffin, and Andrew Magby. Honorary Pallbearers are Monty McWilliams, Robert Zirkle, Hal Thornberry, Dennis Slusher, and Jae Walker.
