Robert V. Sosa

Robert V. Sosa, 72, of West Mermod Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2012 at his home. Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Friday, June 29, 2012 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, June 29, 2012, 4:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rodolfo Gonzalez officiating. Interment will be in Visalia Cemetery, Visalia, California. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Robert V. Sosa was born December 6, 1939 in Lake Arthur, NM to Estevan and Porfiria (Valenzula) Sosa. He was an active and faithful member of Centro Cristiano Jireh where he served as a minister. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rosalinda Sosa; brother, Lorenzo Sosa and sisters: Micaela Sosa and Eduvina Hernandez. Survivors are two daughters: Rose Anne Corbin and husband, Joseph of Farmersville, CA, Rosella Lopez and husband, Benjamin of Goshen, CA; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers: Larry Sosa, Henry Sosa; two sisters: Connie Adiarte, Chena Mendoza and numerous nieces and nephews.
